Back in about '70 +/-, my Uncle had a Jag XKE convertible. What a car. They weren't very dependable, Jags were always in the shop for something ... but as far as a good looking car, it couldn't be beat! Way ahead of it's time.
I've always been into English roadsters though. I've owned an Austin Healey Sprite, an Austin Healey 3000, and an MGB in my time. Again, English cars take a bit of maintenance, but great cars.
Damn, you've got my past cars owned beat by a mile lol... Only real highlights that aren't much of highlights is a 68 Dart w/ a posi and rebuilt engine from a plymouth granfury 360 police intercepter, and my RX-8 w/ a stage 3 turbo whose engine has now been resurrected in another body after totalling it. I wish I'd never sold the Dart tbh. It wasn't really anything special but it was fun to drive. New leaf springs, air shocks, disc brakes... really had that muscle car feel of terror you'd get going into a curve sometimes lol. What's even crazier is that a 68' Dart weighs less than a 08' RX-8 and looks like the fucker is twice the size.
I remember those Darts ... they were sweet looking!
Hands down my favorite feature was was the turn signal indicators located on the front of the fenders outside the car. Don't get me wrong my dart looked like a real hoopdee. Both back quarter panels were rusted out at the bottom and needed to be reskinned b/c of a trunk seal leak. It was fast and could eat a set of tires doing donuts quickly though.
