Ya know, it seems to me, with the SKYROCKET pressures inside diesel engines they could SOLVE any similar issues in a rotary engine (leaks, etc).

looks like portable generators are the primary application so far, but they certainly seem to be looking at applications in nearly all scenarios including flight. They did mention they wont try for any automotive applications in the near future as the regulation/legal costs are too high, but theyd be happy to license the tech for anyone who wants to give it a shot.
