It's more likely someone covering up design flaws in the cars' computer systems. Can't be having the darling of the new economy having issues, now can we?

It could be but I could believe the story. Like with steps they have to have such a ratio or people trip. For fine motor control, an inch can make a huge difference when you're looking at millions of users

Possibly, but every car is slightly different in where the pedals are. I would have to see data on the age of ownership before I made such a conclusion.

I do not think they switched the brake and "gas" pedals in those, that would be absurd and clearly a design defect.

More like Musk paid them off to say this while quietly fixing the problem so his stock prices weren't hurt....

That's what I mean...there's no way that many accidents were because drivers confused the pedals, the pedals have been in the same place as long as almost everyone driving today has been alive.

The only way you could confuse them is if you were a total and complete idiot.
