I read about this recently. Records being broken through the lockdowns left and right. I think an Audi A8 set one of them this spring. Truly once-in-a-lifetime; the original Cannonballs were run in an era of newly-finished Interstate Highway systems along which the population had yet to explode. And true federalist jurisdiction ("get to the state line and you're golden"). Kudos to the new challengers!
I mean the winning times mean you had to average well into the 90s MPH for over a day! Just think of the energy you have to expend doing that.
