I asked him to not rely on it too much. He has better days than others with his hips. I don't like it because it feels like an elderly person tool. It bums me out.

On the bright side, we got a good deal on it.

I’ll tell you he is almost 70. He is driven to move around and stay busy. He’s got burning shoulders and hips. I’m in my 40’s and experiencing the start of this kind of degeneration in joints avd such probably because I’ve lifted heavy at the gym since I was a teenager. I can only imagine what it’ll feel like when/if I get to his age.

He is a fighter. He gets himself into trouble when I’m not watching him. At this point, an injury will be detrimental.

My life has changed when I decided I don’t have a sibling who can or will help.

I’m thankful that he mostly has the smarts to wait for me before he hurts himself. But he really is stubborn.

I am or will be the same way. This is so hard.
