My dad wants a little space heater to put on the counter in his bathroom but all I can find are digital and complicated. I want one that has to be turned on by a physical dial that works as a timer. I hope that makes sense.

I’ve scrolled Walmart and Amazon and can’t seem to find one.

This one might be ideal, no way to leave it on accidentally

I love it. So simple. I am worried about if it can handle a little heater that draws 1,500 watts. I think in amps it’s like 15 amps.

There’s something about 8.x amps in the details. I’ll have to research more. Don’t want to create another hazard.

If anyone knows anything about electricity, let me know.

I see reviews talking about using even higher draw….1,800 watts.

We have the new little heater now. I’ve ordered the plug timer. I’ll test it myself. The stats are confusing.

The little heater we bought has three setting. Low, med, high. So, like 750 watts, 900 watts, and 1,400 watts. I can block the high setting if need be. There are enough protections in place between the heater, timer, built-in breaker at the wall plate, then the breaker in the panel to prevent a disaster. I’ll report back. It won’t get here for a week.

He bought and started using the new heater outside of my request. This is the type of behavior I have to constantly monitor.
