My Dad’s dog has been by his side for almost a dozen years. She’s half nigger dog and half American Bulldog. I don’t hold the first part against her.

Around 7 years ago, when my Dad’s wife was alive, she woke his wife up when Dad passed out in the bathroom. The doctor’s said she saved his life. He had some kind of toxic buildup from his lithium medicine.

She’s hung on longer than all her siblings (family took other pups from the litter back in 2011).

Dogs truly are man’s best friend. At least I think so.

Makes me so happy to hear a good dog story. Nigger dog dog is just a name because niggers took the breed and messed them up by improper breeding. Pitbulls were first bred in Europe through humans selecting dogs to fight in a literal pit back when we were all in Europe. After a while the breed developed and was brought overseas I think for entertainment mostly but of course they served other purposes. Read that in an article somewhere correct me if I'm wrong

You might wanna look up who were organizing these dog fights and who owned most of the dogs and teams.

I see where you're going with this, perhaps I was bamboozled by the one article I read on the subject since they were being vague and too inclusive of what they meant by Europeans. I'll have to check it out
