My Dad’s dog has been by his side for almost a dozen years. She’s half nigger dog and half American Bulldog. I don’t hold the first part against her. Around 7 years ago, when my Dad’s wife was alive, she woke his wife up when Dad passed out in the bathroom. The doctor’s said she saved his life. He had some kind of toxic buildup from his lithium medicine. She’s hung on longer than all her siblings (family took other pups from the litter back in 2011). Dogs truly are man’s best friend. At least I think so.
