Yesterday I did a little work on architecture and also read more about ICE and "trickle ICE" which deal with WebRTC and getting through nats and firewalls. Today I looked into what's called udp holepunching. This will make running daemons a lot easier in that you won't have to specifically open up a port on your firewall in most cases.
