The only employees they had were pakis. They don't clean up anything
This unlocked a strange memory for me, back in Baltimore, near the Inner Harbor, maybe 2007 or 2008.
I was going to a 7-11, lined up to buy whatever bullshit I was purchasing at the time (probably an energy drink and a pack of Newports), and a white Balitmorean buying a fountain soda was in front of me in line.
The guy behind the counter wasn't a Paki tho, he was black, and while I couldn't quite place the accent, he was definitely from an English-speaking African, maybe Caribbean country.
The White Baltimorean in front of me was purchasing a fountain soda, and told the register Negro, and not in a disrespectful way:
Hey dude, you got some fruit flies around the soda dispenser
And I just remember being quite confused by the Negro's reaction to it...
He asked:
A few flies? And what would you like me to do about this? Call the health department?
I was too young at the time to understand that store employees are responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of the store.
And the Nigger behind the counter genuinely made it sound like he was not responsible for cleaning anything, the health department was.
What an interesting memory.
The most surprising part of your story is that the nigger knew what the health department was.
