Imagine you type this same comment, but you're yugoslav in yugoslavia circa 1992, 6 years away from anarchy, civil war, ethnic cleansing etc, but you just don't know it

>property. Metals. Arms, armor, and other physical items

What does the word property means in a state of complete anarchy?

The laws, the courts, all this belongs to a world that is no more, it's wild

Property means shelter and the ability to produce food. Arms means the ability to protect the property. Family means the ability to have multiple arms in use at once. Other physical goods of value mean the ability to trade with desperate people for whatever else I need. Obviously people survived the collapse of every nation that has ever existed; most of them invested in the right things to do so rather than pieces of paper that promise value

You see, the difference this time, is that it's not going to be one nation

It's pretty much the entire western block, plus everything attached to it, which few exceptions aside, means the world as we know it

That's what's going down this time

Okay? How does having farmable land and a means to protect it not translate exactly the same way
