How much do you think the average person would judge a parent for saying that their child ruined their life? Of course they put on a strong face, appear happy in public, as most suffering people do. But would YOU want to spend your days bathing and dressing and caring for your adult child for the remainder of your life? And while you’re forced to do that, I’m forced to contribute to the disability and welfare checks you receive on your child’s behalf.
If a family wants to keep a retarded child then they should have the option, but they shouldn’t receive government assistance for it
Your tax dollars have been spent on much worse things
I did say at the beginning that they were low on the priority list, but being a minor problem doesn’t mean they’re not a problem. That’s like saying you should refuse to get new brakes because you need transmission work
Surprising that you advocate for eugenics but don’t see the benefit in removing retards, but at least we’re mostly on the same page.
If we decided to cut the population by 75% tomorrow, there’s a chance I might not make the cut, depending on the metrics. But for sure if I knew that was a possibility I’d make sure I’d make the cut, which is pretty much the point of eugenics. It just so happens that some people don’t have the ability to make that kind of decision and will never make the cut
