Socialized medicine in action!
They're trying their best to fill the healthcare vacancies but there isn't enough imports from Africa and the middle east with any skills. The only way anything will get better is if half the population runs out of food and pulls a Sri Lanka.
I think the top cause is the mRNA drugs.
I’m sure there have been medical staff getting burnt out and quitting over the past 2 years. I’m sure the Canadian medical system was already strained. That’s not enough to explain these unprecedented emergency room closures across the nation.
Most provinces fired all of their vaccine free healthcare workers (Ontario didn’t). Many of the remaining vaccinated ones are either disabled or unable to work the long hours they used to. That could account for a lot of the ones who got “completely burned out”.
Combine that with the ongoing surge of vaccinated people ending up in the hospital due to their injuries. The article tries to blame this on COVID-19 hospitalizations, but even those inflated official numbers are not high right now.
This is the COVID-19 vaccines.
Actions have consequences. The insane over-reaction to Covid is still echoing, and there's no indication that the nut-jobs who run our lives aren't going to do it all over again.
They made anyone not jabbed leave after they where already short staffed. There where multiple incentive programs in place prior to the vid encouraging RN's and PSW's
This is an easily foreseeable problem.
At least they aren't killing grandma! While you're there you might as well get the 8th jab.
