What do you do when all peaceful attempts on every avenue to regain your freedom have failed? Say oh well and go home?
That would be proof of too many die hard commies in the country. If it turns out to be that then the country was lost long ago and fighting to take it back will require a trained army, not just a bunch of lone gunmen. Even then, it's probably best to just leave the country for a while until it implodes on itself, then come back when it is too weak to fight back. Since the military will be quadruple vax'd by then they'll mostly be suffering from heart disease.
