I know what you're saying, but it's a long game. It's not about today. It's about the coming election. I'm not sure if you're American, but Canadians think differently. We're slow boil. There won't be an explosion of violence unless the government causes it. And then, next election, they lose power and control of the country. There is a reason why Liberal ministers are breaking ranks. So, unless they are planning on going full tyranny this weekend (which Canada doesn't have the military to accomplish - we could barely secure one city meaningfully for any length of time).... Power in Canada comes through optics. With a limited military and police strength, you only rule in Canada though compliance.
