There was zero chance that it wouldn't be. That's not the point of it.
The point is showing cops arresting peaceful, normal Canadians on television and social. That's the win.
Ok show everyone how corrupt the system is. Check.
Now what? Seems like a pointless point to make. Its not like everyone will get out of their seats to go overthrow the government all of a sudden.
Waco? Everyone saw that... Jan 6th? Everyone (the majority) knows its fake 9/11? Again the majority knows its was our own government.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but this whole idea of using peace to overthrow tyranny/evil/communism is just a fairytale.
Power is taken at the tip of a sword. Not at the whining and whimpering of a peasant.
The peaceful transfer of power in the US has been something pointed out every inauguration, it’s a rare thing. However since the vote is no longer legitimate in most of the modern world that beautiful flower of humanity is also gone.
Dark days must prevail at the hands of strong men, it won’t be pretty, mAny will suffer. It is likely the only way. History is our teacher, the future is for those willing to shape it. We are in between in the now, this is where the rubber meets the road so to speak.
None of them got arrested. They all just complied.
Peace - 0 Tyranny - 1
I know what you're saying, but it's a long game. It's not about today. It's about the coming election.
I'm not sure if you're American, but Canadians think differently. We're slow boil. There won't be an explosion of violence unless the government causes it. And then, next election, they lose power and control of the country. There is a reason why Liberal ministers are breaking ranks.
So, unless they are planning on going full tyranny this weekend (which Canada doesn't have the military to accomplish - we could barely secure one city meaningfully for any length of time)....
Power in Canada comes through optics. With a limited military and police strength, you only rule in Canada though compliance.
Good point
Some left, but more arrived. I think they are still there?
