It's a good point that young people (not just woman, ideally there should be a father...), are not settling down and having kids as young anymore.

One issue that is often overlooked in this discussion is the lack of need for children by the individual. It used to be a large family would help you as you aged. If you had a lot of children, you had better odds of being cared for. Now the state plays that role, there is no need for big families.

Additionally the government has made the cost of raising children more expensive. The government has driving up the cost of healthcare, school, and taxes.

You can talk about 'family friendly policies' all you want, but in the end, until you recreate the need for children, you're not going to get them from responsible young adults.

But hey! Import a bunch of irresponsible third world immigrants! I'm sure that will solve everything.
