I guess this is not news even though it was a direct link to a news article! Thanks AOU! I was so stupid to think that a news article should go into ! Silly me! It's not like the point of my post, that they are building a narrative, applies to places other than Canada.

Electric cars won't work in Canada. Most people there don't have heated garages, and the temperature can drop to minus twenty or thirty in some places. Batteries don't like the cold. Also, heating the interior of a car in these temperatures takes enormous amounts of power. Electrics may work in California and Florida, but they won't work for Canada.
