Come on, admit it. Now I can see where someone could take offense to that but I wasn't trying to offend you at all. Clearly I could have just said "I don't get it" and then you might have replied with an explanation. That would have been a much better exchange. Now, had I wanted to offend you I would have used different language. Not like Ich würde wetten, dass du denkst, die Erde ist flach.
