Not to mention the bill for battery replacement. Yep, they wear out. Yep, thousands to replace. It was a smack in the face when I looked into it. It's still most likely cheaper to drive. I think in B.C. you can get a rebate on the purchase of a new EV which might offset the cost of the first battery replacement, or simply lease. It seems like we have an eternal car payment nowadays anyhow.
