If the police driving Ford SUVs in the city I live in are any indication, Ford sells a lot of police cruisers. CEO should just tell them that yes, we can stop making them, but we would no longer need as many employees since our sales would be lower.
It's fun to play with someone else's war, but when it comes to your doorstep ideals change real quick.
Ford Foundation dumped millions of dollars on BLM, it's nice seeing them get bitten. Their cop vehicles will now likely be sabotaged at the factory.
The two are mostly separate, but they share a common root. In this case it's someone cutting off the left hand and beating the right hand with it. Still kind of funny when you look at it the right way.
Ford sells a ton of cruisers. It might be their single largest income stream. (It used to be cars for rental outfits.)
I would guess it is, no other entity is buying that many of the same type of vehicle.
They used to make a shit ton of money on the Taurus with rental companies...
