Haven't really tried Canadian whiskys, I stick mostly to Scottish Islays.
Since they're similar to the Scottish style, I am curious to see if Canada has any smoky whiskeys of their own.
I haven't come across any that have that distinct Islay smokeyness. If you find one, do let us know, because that would be awesome!
I'm just drinking cheapo Bushmills at the moment. It's irish and slightly on the sweet side, but adequate overall for how cheap it is.
Will do!
There's nothing wrong with some Bushmills.
If you like smokey and Irish though, I would defiantly recommend Connemara. It's the last Irish peated whiskey and the flavors are amazing.
Ooh, I hope they have that at my local good bottle shop. I bet they might!
