Actually funny story I recently found a 5 acre plot in my area for 5 grand. Now 5 grand is a chunk of change but 1 thousand an acre is not a bad deal at all.

Has power and natural gas hook ups so that is a big plus. No sewage but a septic field could solve that problem. I'm 90% sure you could get coax internet on it without having to pay to have lines run. Not sure how the ground would be for farming but if its anything like most of the land around here it would be fine.
