Archive is broken for me right now.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, electrical arcing on an out-of-service Southern California Edison transmission tower sparked the 2025 Eaton Fire in Los Angeles, which killed 19 people and destroyed or damaged more than 9,400 homes and businesses.

The fire took almost a month to extinguish and burned 22 square miles, primarily effecting nearby suburbs Altadena and Pasadena — when it began on January 7, 2025.

Nobody cares. The families of the dead get no recompense, insurance will stall, now that it's payout time. SCE doesn't give two shits, the shareholders must be served. California is as fucked up as a football-bat.
