There has to be more on her then that.
Nobody wants a bunch of section 8 individuals living in their neighborhood. A nearby city did it here and it was hilarious. 500,000-1,000,000+ homes(early 2010ish) completely secluded, safe and backed up to 100’s of acre as of donated green space from a former wealthy resident.
The catch was the city could only keep it if it was used for a green space. 30 years later they claimed they could just take the 100’s of acres and designate smaller green spaces that would equal the same size throughout the city to make up for it lmao.
Then came the affordable housing/apartments plans and the residents were pissed, serves them right. But our homes lost so much value and we can’t move lmao.
I just did a quick search, but I'm sure there's more below the surface with her.
That's a lot of secluded homes. Surprised noone pushed back on the city just having the gall to up and taking those acres, they had to know what was coming.
Serves them right. Sorry it attected you negatively. My ruralish area's still ok. Hope it stays that way, I'm getting too old to move!
