Probably more than Maui, yeah. If this shit has made it to the hills in Pasadena, it's a shot to some of the more expensive parts of LA, and those hills coast through the high rent places. Only place that might be more costly would be Beverly Hills and Malibu. But in terms of population, this is fucky fucked fucked. If it continues east into Azuza unchecked, then your moving into the rich mountain communities like big bear.

Edit: checked the progress. This bitch is in Sierra Madre and Monrovia. Yeah, this is gonna be costly as fuck. The houses aren't as spendy as the coast, but they're tightly packed up there, and VERY expensive in their own right. It'll be to Mount Baldy by Friday if they don't stop it. If it makes it to Mount Baldy, they're gonna have a devil of a time trying to stop it. That country is rugged as fuck

Yikes. I do a little wild land FF and it sucks when it gets up into the foothills. All us structural guys are counting the minutes for the real wild land guys to show up!!!

Yup. And those hills and mountains are about the only places left without civilization because they're rugged as fuck. Like, even hiking in them is legit dangerous

Yea, I do more rescue work than firefighting up there. That's a good time though. I love it.
