The whole Sierra Madre range is a shit show. Rockies might be bigger but they're not as fucked with steep drop offs and unreachable cliffs as the Madre is.

Right now, the only thing saving CA is, ironically, the concrete jungle. The 210 is a boundary down into nothing but shit built around WW2, but very little vegetation. If the fire manages to make it to Whittier Narrows or can jump through the CA aqueduct though, shit is gonna get real, fast.
