The thought was it would force other states farmers to adopt this law, like CARB and its emissions bullshit. There's enough other options for eggs in other states that they can just cut Commiefornia off and not hurt their profits/revenues.

Yup, they did the same thing to the auto industry. Just about every car sold is California legal because the EPA takes its orders from CARB.
