Our government, you say? We do not have a government. What passes for a government is a bought and paid for collection of tyrants and despots. A government represents the people, not too big to exist corporations. A government governs, not dictates. A government doesn't create laws against its own people. A government doesn't kill its citizens and denizens by allowing corporations to profit with immunity. A government protects its borders, not tearing borders down and paying for illegal aliens to flood into domestic territory.
