You bought a piece of shit, then. I have an electric chainsaw, electric hedge trimmers, electric leaf blower, and electric weed whacker. All of them run long enough to do my regular yard work for a two weeks before I have to charge the battery again, and I move the battery from tool to tool. The hedge trimmer are more powerful than the corded ones it replaced.

If you get the chance, try .

One thing to keep in mind is that you have to treat lithium batteries right for them to last. Storing them fully charged will wear them out very fast. If you're not going to be using them right away, try to store them at 50% or less. Also, don't store them somewhere it gets over 90°F. Heat also destroys lithium batteries. If you have a cold basement, that would be the best place to store them.
