If she says she wants to go back, the best things to do would be to convince her to take a 2-3 weeks trip to Norway and then come back to US and see is she still fells homesick.

I like this idea. I'll suggest it. She's still a shell after so many years of marriage and now a widow. My father was her life. 58.. way too young. No vaccines, no drugs, no smoking, he was healthy.
