Like some animals as we know use camouflage as a defense/attack against predators or enemies. Freckles are a huge form of camouflage that shows a persons ancestors for centuries lived in deeply wooded area's and the freckles were there so they could hide or kill from cover with ease since this family line is one that were able to hide the weak and the strong could kill with ease when threatened . Like in a D&D games freckles were the equivalent of the stealth ability of a thief to hide in plain sight so a ginger could stand in the bushes and escape human attacker or a large predator that used vision for hunting and didn't have a strong sense of smell like dogs or other canines do. Large male gingers on the other hand had strong tempers and were feared as they should be. In the forest the male ginger had no equal in combat and any white anglo male centuries ago would be fool to enter the woods in a ginger township since the male gingers would just stand still and attack silently the foolish white male that walked past and had his back exposed to their fury.
