Afaik, unless there's a specific feature you want, most motherboards will do fine for general use. B series chipsets are generally "lower end", and X series chipsets will support more "cutting edge" features (probably some stuff the general user won't need). Also the 400 series mobos might supports ryzen 3 with a bios update, but the 500 series is guaranteed to support it.
