I've been enjoying Half-Life Alyx, but I don't think the 16 GB I currently have is handling it well enough. The min sys requirement is 12 GB.

I did buy a nice 2x8GB G Skill RAM kit when I put this new PC together, but I'm going to give that to my son, and upgrade to the 32GB RGB. Seems silly, but I'm really liking all the RGB stuff, looks tight.

I have to say overall the machine runs great as is tho. Right now my son is able to play Super Hot on it while I'm browsing the web with no slow down. Alyx is just more demanding.

What modded minecraft were you running?

I have an RTX card but I currently use Java. I wonder if it would be better to get some nice shaders instead of moving to Bedrock version. I was looking at the SEUS option.

Have used seus before and really like it, also i play with Sphax to make the game look nicer

My modpack is this one (curseforge.com) except i updated all the mods and removed a few that don't seem to work anymore. Been using MultiMC and it makes updating and fucking around with mods a lot easier so shoutout to them
