The Framea is considered to be just that: the light throwing and combat spear of the Germanic tribes.

The 30-cm-long blade fits easily into a suitcase, so that once you arrive at your destination, all you need to do is carve a two-meter-long shaft with a three-centimeter diameter from ash wood.

Considering they don't have any firearms, probably won't be too hard.

The gun that won the west is also an appropriate choice. A Winchester 1873 can fire quicker than a musket.

I grew up on this https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0051308/ and Star Trek TOS.

Many a shot was fired from imaginary guns and many brave boys lost their lives. But not quite because they'd always manage to fire off one last deadly parting shot.

Took a little doing to find the above, in Germany it was called 'Westlich von Santa Fé' and I thought it was called 'John McLean'. Must've been in the 70s, we didn't own a TV then.
