Yeah. I have a good hookup on honey for a great price. I haven't been myself since my dad passed. I'm behind on brewing anything. I just began picking dandelions yesterday. I have frozen peaches from last summer. It's almost raspberry season and I need to get started before I run out of room. I tend to be up to 100 gallons a year. Mead is my absolute favorite.

I agree mine for a minimum of 2 years. Mead takes forever to be smooth.

$57 total with shipping for 10 lbs. $98 for 20 lbs The family owns a business. They sell most of their honey to manufacturers but always reserve some to the side for others in the wine making/Mead group I'm part of.

Raspberry Mead, one of my favorite combos!!! Throw in some Madagascar vanilla beans during aging and the flavor really pops.

I am one of those losers who is still on kikebook. I use it to share photos of my kids with my family. I also use it for a couple groups. I rarely post anything other than pics. If you'd like I can give you the group name as well as the name of the guy who sells the honey. He's actually well known outside of Facebook. I was at my local brewery supply store talking to them and they knew of him. I've been at wine contests where he's also known. I have no idea of what the moisture content is, but if you don't use the honey fairly quickly it hardens and you need to give it a hot water bath to soften it. My understanding from others who tend bees, is that is a sign of good pure honey. Super thick like you stated. I often reach an abv of 18-21% in my meads. You can get honey from him from various tropical blossoms. Each has different undertones in their flavor.
