Legend has it, the scene started because of the density of professional dancers in the Orlando area, who needed a scene to relax after work.

I grew up in that scene my girlfriend was a stripper we would all go to a club in Cocoa Beach called Lava and it didn't open until 2am. But that club was so much fun. They even had hot tubes in there. A motorcycle stunt gang hung out there called the MI Extreme.
