Starting to think it's on purpose to do stock buybacks.
I hope the people boycotting these companies make any such schemes backfire. So far the AB Inbev (Bud Light) boycott has surprised me. Usually the noise about these things would die down by now and pave the way for the stock to quietly go back up over the next few weeks. People are sticking to their guns on that one though. There is a large portion of their market who will never again be seen with one of those products in their hand.
Companies like Target and Kohl’s might bounce back though. The common, household items you buy at Target do not advertise to everyone you know that you shopped at a gender ideology pushing store. When the noise dies down a lot of people will quietly go back to shopping there. I’m hoping that’s a small portion, but we’ll see.
