One would be foolish to publish something on the internets and not keep a local copy. This is why I never stream stuff. Luckily 8TB archive drives are pretty cheap these days. The first hard drive I ever owned was only 1.6GB. Crazy how much can be crammed onto one now.
I know. Somehow the file sizes just keep getting bigger. On the bright side I can save an entire series if I really want to.
I sure hope the old stuff from the early early days of the internet and all the countless purged stuff is saved somewhere out there. I remember learning about what formatting meant the hard way when I tried to transfer stuff from all my floppies to a new computer. The darn things were one use items too unlike now where everything can have its data be overwritten to free up space.
