Flip of the switch and crypto is gone. A few keystrokes and crypto its gone. Crypto is an even more dangerous type of Fiat than has ever been seen before.

That is very true. I think they are hoping more would get into it. The rope a dope scheme of our life time.
If there were more ways to spend crypto, anonymously, it would find a lot more use. Like gold one Bitcoin is worth too damned much to be all that useful as a currency. A crypto that finds wide use in actual transactions throughout the USA or many countries and is untraceable would be a nightmare for the powers that be. We need that.
Sure, competition is always good. But don't think for a second that Crypto is some unadulterated option.
