There is a Bald Eagle nest a few miles away from where I live. They fly overhead sometimes when I am running errands or outside. Those birds are HUGE. If you have not seen one up close you don't get the scale.

I see them all the time along Lake Erie. When I was growing up it was a huge deal to see one, very uncommon. Now it is guaranteed.

*I should preface that with where you are. Cleveland not so much, but if you get out to Lorain you will see them all the way to the end of Sandusky bay and Toledo. To the east you will see them from Mentor to Buffalo.

There are some in the area north of Houston

We have tons of eagles here in MI. After everything melts they are all over the side of the road and in the fields eating roadkill. Not uncommon to see 10-15 hanging out in a field eating a dead whitetail. Watched one catch a fish right next to our boat last summer. All while we weren't catching shit.
