Used to be the parents would play cool and not approach if I was out, do the old bird "try to lead me away" trick. Now that the young have hatched the ma and pa aren't as reserved in my presence. I just have to look away and in they go.

I have resisted the urge to intrude upon the nest, but I do believe they're hemoglobin actuated, not battery.
