The crows in my area hold a yearly congress along a row of tall fir trees. One by one they arrive and perch at the top of a tree. New arrivals are either allowed to land in a particular tree or not, and some are not allowed to land at all. A crow that does not obey the rules is chased off by several others birds. This whole process takes around an hour, it's fascinating to watch.
