The owner's father was an artist, and did several calligraphic pieces for the company in the late 80s and early 90s.

The kid that took over from his folks and ragequit the company one day didn't take much that belonged to his parents, and this was one of the pieces left. I couldn't resist, it's a beautiful piece of artwork. I need to get the Chinese translated, all I know about it is the artist's name and the title of the poem.

yep

used to play an online Chinese game that auto-translated for the global chat, literally everything that came out was utter bollocks "penguin grass skirt" was one memorable line

I did get the solid impression over several years that Chinese teens are all cheating, greedy, selfish, shallow, hyper competitive, basement dwelling, xenophobic, angry cunts, all willing to drop a lot of money on being the top dog in any game with other Chinese in it.

If there's one race that really really wants to make the world a shittier place, then it's that lot

On the plus side, Americans, Germans and Canadians were always great team players

I tried various mechanical translators with no success. The results ranged from amusing to "There's no way that can be that."
