i live a fucked up existence amongst fucked up scandalous ppl so i get it. if i were moved to a rich place with no crime i think in 20 years id still be hypervigilant despite no threats. just shows urban ppl are a lot dumber than us isolated country folks i reckon ...
Definitely, once you see the evils people are capable of its hard to unlearn or detach yourself from them no matter how far you go.
On the other hand its funny how people who have always lived in that safe bubble always find it so hard to believe what people are capable of.
I wonder what the exact mix of experiences is to enjoy the best of the world without succumbing to that naivety is?
