I've told the story before but a guy allegedly claimed he was going to leave all of his documents and stuff at home so he could leave, then enter "legally" without customs giving him trouble. He then reentered, got a free phone and free housing plus loaded cash cards and simply went back home. Opening the borders is the stupidest thing ever done in the US.
