I've toyed with the concept that it's all one big middle finger troll to the US public by the elites controlling him; "See we can install the biggest clown and you can't and won't do shit about it".
Pretty sure his senility is real because Biden has always been a gaffe machine, and his worsening progression has been steady. The troll part might also be real.

I still believe its a show, he seemed to be able to put a sentence together until the laptop was outed. Maybe he's scared stupid.
