Ok it seems like this is bad since it’s on a beach and they lost track of time.

But let me play devils advocate here: There was zero bad outcome, and the exact same thing happens at home when the baby is put down for a nap.

I mean fuck these two but ain’t this a double standard?

Yeah I could clutch my pearls with all the what could have happened, but that don’t actually make a crime. And one could argue in court that the same happens at home, at day and night when the baby naps. The weather was not like a car in the heat.

So where is the crime?

No you fucking retard. When you put your six month old baby down for a nap at home there are not a bunch of strangers walking around. There are not strange dogs running around. There is no tide to be concerned with. It's called abandonment, reckless endangerment and probably a slew of other things. It's called negligence and it is criminal.
