Don't most women get turned off at men being "vulnerable"?

You're misunderstanding what she means by vulnerable. Didn't your mom ever convince your Dad to do something that he was pushing back on initially because of "muh pride" and "muh way or the highway", but she could convince him because he let his guard down with her alone.

That's a type of vulnerability, but not the sappy streaming tears down cheeks kind of vulnerability that turns women off.
