It was around 30 years ago, some guy was trying to sell me something that was used like pepper spray, but it would attach a green foam to the perp which would have to be removed at a hospital. I've never heard of it being used, so wonder if it was banned or something.
I think I'll be spending my weekend or maybe month reading patents. Sounds "fun".
If it helps: he also said that it would cause someone's eye to seal shut, but the hospital could remove it with minimal damage to the skin. Yet somehow, if it got in their airway it wouldn't suffocate them. I could not see how those 2 can both be true at the same time.
Sounds like some sort of water soluble organic adhesive with something that makes it foam up? Probably something that requires a very specific ratio of something that could actually hurt you but only in larger amounts?
I mean, that's a random thought in my head after being awake longer than I should be on a very long day.
I have a feeling at least some of those claims are garbage like the "minimal damage" and "won't suffocate them" (probably) part...
